Wormald 2003B System Gas Control
The 2003B Dual Gas module is used to condition two, 3-wire pellistor type sensors designed to monitor the presence of flammable gases.
To prevent pellistor damage due to over-heating, the module incorporates circuitry to reduce the sensor current to a safe level if gas concentrations in excess of 99% LEL are detected.
Additional features provided by the module are a 4 to 20mA output corresponding with 0 to 100 % LEL and extensive fault reporting via the front panel displays.
In common with other modules in the range, the module integrates with the System Test facility which the 2003B system offers. The module also provides a dual interface, for status collection through the Serial Communication module.
The module has voltage regulation, an on-board fuse and power failure monitor and indication facilities.
