The 2003A-1 OUTPUT RELAY module is one of a range of modules which comprise the fire and gas detection, control and indicating system. The module gives front panel indication of alarm and fault for each channel, as well as module fault.
The module contains five independent relays with single pole vault-free change-over contacts rated at 24V dc 2A. Each of the relays can be driven independently from internal or external logic.
During an automatic test sequence, operation of the relays is inhibited but the module circuitry checks that the relay coils are healthy and that an alarm would have caused the relay to operate.
The module has voltage regulation and an on-board fuse with fuse failure monitoring and indication facilities.
